29 Nov SAHPRA office closure during festive season
SAHPRA offices will be closed for the festive season from 12:00 on Friday, 22 December 2023 and will re-open on Tuesday, 02 January 2024.
Submissions to SAHPRA
New Medicine, Variation, License, Renewal Applications
Applications/submissions must reach SAHPRA by 14 December 2023 at 13:00 to allow for the administrative processing of them this year. Normal operations and administrative activities will recommence Wednesday, 03 January 2024.
Lot Release Applications
Lot release applications must reach SAHPRA by 11 December 2023 at 13:00 to allow for the administrative processing and samples to be sent to the lab this year. Samples must reach the SANCLBP on or before 13 December 2023.
Submission of Section 22A permit applications
Permits required by 22 December 2023 must be submitted to SAHPRA by 08 December 2023.
Ports of Entry
SAHPRA Border Medicines Control Technicians will be operating at the legislated ports of entry during the administrative closure.
